Jason Elewski

After graduating from Ohio University with a degree in Video Production and gaining real life perspective on debt, I decided to move to the one place where I could work with some of Hollywood's biggest stars: Chicago! 

By the time I learned that all the Hollywood stars live in Los Angeles, I had already fell in love with the city of Chicago and began to get involved in the lucrative world of comedy. With too much money to my name, I gave some of it away to Second City, where I gained a better perspective on writing comedic content. Writing absurdly, but never falsely, I have been lucky enough to produce work with and for some of the most talented people in Chicago.

I've found the most satisfaction in writing and creating pieces that make an audience feel something beyond a laugh. Tension, poignance, and heart are what I strive for in my stories. I believe in the power of the re-write, and while nothing is ever perfect in my mind, I can get as close as possible.

For me, comedy is a source of immense joy, but it's also of means of surreptitiously conveying truth. We find ourselves in comedy.
